From ideas to items
The Junior School has its own DT room in Clock House and pupils from Year 4 have DT once a week, taught by a specialist teacher. Here they learn to turn their design ideas into three dimensions. Lessons are tailored to the age of the children. During their time in the Junior School they will learn how to use tools, design and make computer controlled models, design electronic projects, understand materials (metals, plastics and wood) and have lots of fun. We also take part in local competitions.
