Understanding our world
Science in the Junior School is exciting, challenging and, above all, fun. We place an emphasis on learning through practical activity. Pupils study Science in all year groups. Lessons take place in the classroom in Years 2 – 4 and from Year 5 pupils use the new Science Laboratories in the Senior School. Safe practice is taught from the very start which enables us to allow pupils to use bunsen burners and other scientific equipment from an early age.
